We are thrilled to invite you into The Fanning St. Residence, a unique Staten Island home that perfectly balances timeless tradition and contemporary living.
When designing this project, our clients’ deep appreciation for classic design was clear from the traditional exterior facade. However, we knew the interiors needed to reflect the way families live in 2026. Every room in this home was crafted to breathe with a fresh, modern energy, bringing our philosophy of Designing Landmarks. Creating Life. to the forefront.

A Seamless Transition
While the architecture honors classic roots, stepping inside reveals an entirely different experience. We anchored the home in a Transitional aesthetic, leaning into warm minimalism and organic modernism to create an environment that feels both historic and completely current.
Light, Air, and Openness
The true defining feature of this home is the atmosphere. By maximizing the natural light pouring in through the large windows, the home breathes with an airy, effortless openness. The spaces are designed to feel expansive and unburdened, allowing the energy of the home to flow seamlessly from one room to the next without feeling weighed down by heavy, traditional decor.
A Refined Material Mix
The magic of the Fanning St. Residence lies in its overall aesthetic. We utilized a soft, luminous color palette, layering warm neutrals, crisp whites, and subtle textures. Rather than relying on singular statement pieces, it is the harmony of the curated material mix—the smooth, light woods paired with soft, inviting textiles and clean lines—that creates a cohesive, calming, and deeply luxurious environment.
The Master Bathroom Retreat
We carried this philosophy of restrained luxury directly into the master bathroom, designing a space that feels almost like stepping into a finely crafted piece of jewelry. We intentionally avoided loud or over-the-top materials, focusing entirely on refinement and character. The delicate brass fixtures and the sleek glass shower enclosure—which beautifully reveals a striking pebble-tile wall—work together in perfect harmony. It is a true sanctuary of subdued elegance.
