This page explains what Max Design collects through this website, why, and what happens to it. It is written in plain language on purpose.
What we collect
When you send us a message through the contact form, we receive the name, email address, telephone number and message you type, and which kinds of project you tick. We keep a copy in our website’s admin and a copy arrives in our inbox. We use it to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, as the start of our file on the project. We do not use it for anything else and we do not sell or share it.
When you join our mailing list, we keep your email address on this website and pass it to Mailchimp, the service that sends our updates. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. Mailchimp’s own privacy notice describes how it handles addresses.
Cookies. This website sets no cookies of its own to track you, and shows no advertising. If you are signed in to edit the site, WordPress sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in.
Services that help the site run. The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google. The contact form and the newsletter signup are protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a message is being sent by a person; it may set a cookie for that purpose and does not track you across other sites. Cloudflare describes what it collects for that check in its Turnstile Privacy Policy. Each of those companies publishes its own privacy notice.
How long we keep it
Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as they are useful to the enquiry or the project, and then deleted. Mailing list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@maxdesign.nyc and we will deal with it promptly.

If what the website does changes, this page will change with it. The date below is when it was last updated.
